Siri AI has been introduced as a new feature in iOS 27 for users of Apple devices. However, access to this feature is not easily available to all users, and Apple has set specific conditions for its use.
Requirements for Accessing Siri AI
To use Siri AI in iOS 27, users must have compatible devices and select English as their set language. This feature is only available on new devices such as iPhone 15 Pro and later models. Additionally, some advanced features of this system will only be activated on iPhone 17 Pro and newer models.

Moreover, all Macs equipped with Apple Silicon chips and iPad models with A17 Pro or newer chips also support Siri AI. Devices like Apple Watch that can run watchOS 27 are also compatible with this technology. However, Siri AI will not be available for Apple TV and HomePod at launch.
Age and Regional Restrictions
Apple has clearly stated that this feature will not be available for users under 13 years old, and there are no exceptions to this rule. Even if parents allow the use of Siri AI, this feature will not be activated for children. This restriction will be accompanied by a set of new features aimed at enhancing child safety in iOS 27.
Despite global access to Siri AI, users in two major regions, namely the European Union and China, are currently deprived of this feature. Apple is working to find solutions that ensure user privacy and security in these regions. Regarding China, it has been announced that Siri AI and other new Apple Intelligence features will not be available until legal and regulatory requirements are reviewed.
Expansion of Supported Languages
Apple has also announced that next month, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish will be added to the list of supported languages. This language expansion will coincide with the release of iOS 27.1, which is expected to be released by October 23.
