Siri AI has been introduced to users with the release of the new versions of Apple's operating systems, including iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and others. However, this smart assistant is not fully available to users in the European Union, and users outside this region must also remain on a waiting list for access.
Access Limitations for Siri AI
Apple has specifically stated that only Mac and Apple Vision Pro users in the European Union can access Siri AI, provided they set their device to one of the supported languages. However, this feature will not be active at the initial launch on iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS in the European Union, and Apple has not announced a specific date for lifting this restriction.

Additionally, China has also been removed from the regions covered by Siri AI, and Apple is currently reviewing the legal requirements of this country. In contrast, other features of iOS 27 are available to users in Europe without any restrictions. This includes the new Screen Time design, fresh parental controls, and photo editing tools.
Challenges for Users Outside Europe
Users outside the European Union also cannot immediately access Siri AI. This feature is currently in beta, and users must register on a waiting list to use it. The registration option appears in the Siri settings under the title “Try Siri AI (beta),” and after submitting a request, Apple's server indicates the approximate waiting time.
This situation highlights the challenges users must face. Some users have even waited up to a week for access to Siri AI during the trial period. Additionally, the hardware of the device is also important, and only specific devices are permitted to use this feature.
Apple has also announced that the Siri AI feature will not be available for users under 13 years old. However, access to CarPlay has not been affected by this restriction, and now five AI assistants are available in this environment.
Finally, Apple has specified daily usage limits for its server-based features. For example, Siri AI will also be subject to such a cap, although the exact amount has not yet been announced. Apple has stated that broader access to such features will be possible in the future with a fee.
As a result, iPhone users in the European Union must currently rely on using the older version of Siri and other Apple Intelligence features until Apple announces the activation time for Siri AI in this region.
