Meeting with Emmanuel Macron and Emphasis on Maritime Security
During this visit, Al-Zaydi met with Emmanuel Macron, the President of France. According to a joint statement, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to maritime security and freedom of navigation as one of the fundamental principles of international law. This issue is particularly significant for European countries that rely on international trade.

- Cooperation in the field of civil aviation with the French Ministry of Transport.
These memoranda could pave the way for further cooperation between Iraq and France in various fields, particularly in energy and defense.
Discussions with French Companies and Rothschild Bank
The Prime Minister of Iraq also met with the CEO of TotalEnergies and the head of Rothschild Bank. In these meetings, the latest status of TotalEnergies' strategic projects in Iraq and ways to expand cooperation between Iraq and international banks and financial institutions were discussed.
Al-Zaydi emphasized investment opportunities in various sectors, including the economy, energy, and infrastructure, and stated that the Iraqi government would provide all necessary support and facilities to attract investors.
Combating Extremism and Cultural Cooperation
Another important aspect of Al-Zaydi's visit was a meeting with the head of the Arab World Institute, where the importance of combating extremism and continuing cooperation in cultural and social fields was emphasized. This topic could help strengthen cultural relations between Iraq and Europe.
