These memoranda could pave the way for further cooperation between Iraq and France in various fields, particularly in energy and defense.

Discussions with French Companies and Rothschild Bank

The Prime Minister of Iraq also met with the CEO of TotalEnergies and the head of Rothschild Bank. In these meetings, the latest status of TotalEnergies' strategic projects in Iraq and ways to expand cooperation between Iraq and international banks and financial institutions were discussed.

Al-Zaydi emphasized investment opportunities in various sectors, including the economy, energy, and infrastructure, and stated that the Iraqi government would provide all necessary support and facilities to attract investors.

Combating Extremism and Cultural Cooperation

Another important aspect of Al-Zaydi's visit was a meeting with the head of the Arab World Institute, where the importance of combating extremism and continuing cooperation in cultural and social fields was emphasized. This topic could help strengthen cultural relations between Iraq and Europe.
