Brown joined Bayern Munich this summer for a fee of 50 million euros from Eintracht Frankfurt and has had a remarkable performance in the early weeks of the season, especially due to his ability to play in multiple positions. Given the shortage of players in Bayern's lineup, Vincent Kompany utilized this 23-year-old left-back in the attacking midfield position; initially in the German Supercup match against Borussia Dortmund and then in games against Stuttgart and Schalke. Diaz's role in the team
Diaz spoke about Brown's ability to play in different positions, saying: "This versatility is a huge advantage for us. We have signed a great player, and he will definitely help the team's progress." In addition to Brown, Bayern Munich also signed Ismail Sabari this summer. This player moved from PSV Eindhoven to Munich, also joining Bayern for a fee of 50 million euros.
Diaz commented on his new teammate: "He is a good guy, and fortunately, he speaks Spanish. It is very important for me to have someone here with whom I can speak in my own language." A year after his transfer from Liverpool to Bayern Munich, 29-year-old Diaz still considers the German language one of his challenges. He said: "The language is definitely one of the few things I struggle with. Getting used to it is not that easy. But apart from that, I can't complain about anything. The city is amazing. If you have time, there are many things you can do here. I am very happy here."
Bayern Munich has started the new season with five wins and one draw in their first six official matches. Diaz has scored one goal so far, although he has missed several good scoring opportunities in recent games. This Colombian forward spoke about his condition: "I am in search of my best version, and I will reach it soon. I think my next goal will come in the next game."
Bayern Munich will host Union Berlin at the Allianz Arena on Friday, and after that, club competitions will pause due to the international break.
