These mosques are not only places of worship but also centers for cultural and social communication. However, this increase has coincided with a rise in negative sentiments towards Muslims and Islamic culture, leading to social tensions.

While the number of mosques is increasing, the statistics regarding Islamophobic attacks in Germany have also risen alarmingly. In the past year, over ٤٥٠ attacks against Muslims and Islamic centers have occurred in this country. These attacks include not only the destruction of places of worship but also threats, insults, and physical assaults.
