These days, the name Hossein Aghayari, one of the trustees of the Islamic Republic, has become one of the hot topics in the media. With the support of the Minister of Oil, Mohsen Paknejad, he has pocketed over ten billion from the country's resources. It seems they naively believe that in times of war and instability, this amount will be forgotten.
Bypassing the Law and Plundering Resources
Independent sources have told me that Aghayari has managed to prevent his case from being processed by circumventing the judiciary. But now that the list of trustees has been published, his name shines once again at the top of the list of corruptors and plunderers of the country's resources. Aghayari has created a vast network of financial corruption and money laundering not only in Iran but also in the UAE and Turkey. He leads this network in the United Arab Emirates through individuals such as Shahryar Abreshimi and Ladan Khosravi.
Minister of Oil and Ignoring Corruption
Interestingly, the Minister of Oil, knowing that Hossein Aghayari has serious legal cases with charges of fraud, forgery, and even counterfeiting currency, has entrusted him with tens of billions of the country's assets. And it is painful that every corrupt individual connected to the regime buys a Dominican passport. Hossein Aghayari is among those who hold Dominican and Turkish passports.
Currently, one of the major programs I manage as an investigative journalist is to find and expose this individual's financial network. Soon, in a special program, I will publish more details about this matter in the evening news.
